18 Months Old!

Dear Kenley,

Today you are 18 months old! I don’t know if you realize this, but that means you are a year and a half old! You’re practically grown!

This month your obsession with the outdoors has intensified. We HAVE to take walks around the neighborhood at least 3 times a day. It’s nearly impossible to leave the house to run errands without having to first take a walk around the block. If we don’t, a meltdown will surely follow! I guess there are worse things though 🙂 I hope you still love the outdoors this much when you are 10 and kids like to sit in front of the TV or computer.

You are still the sweetest thing ever. You give hugs and kisses and snuggles all the time now. It’s the best.

In the past couple of days, you have finally started to eat better. For a while I was concerned you weren’t eating enough. You’d eat like no breakfast, a couple of bites of lunch, and MAYBE some dinner. Maybe…if you felt like it. You ate like a pound of broccoli at Grandpa’s house the other night. The last time I tried to give you broccoli, you acting like I was making you eat soap with all the drama and gagging you gave me. But hey, if you like Grandpa’s broccoli better than mine, go for it!

Well, sometimes you like to sit in front of the computer 🙂

You love nothing more than to be around people, especially little people your age. I try to get you to as many activities I can during the week because you adore other kids. We always go to story time and we’ve started going to indoor gym too. You seem to share pretty well and are so sweet. You often will go up to another kid and hug them or grab their hand and start walking with them.

A couple of weekends ago you made your debut as a flower girl! You did awesome! You walked down the aisle holding your bear just like you were supposed to (with the help of 4 year old Emma of course!) We were so proud and you were just A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

I love you more than you’ll ever know kid!
