June 3: Define “freedom.”
Freedom….hmmmm. Hard to explain.  I think of freedom as doing whatever makes you happy, even if it doesn’t fit what most people consider your ideals to be.  I always think of this example. Most people would consider me a feminist (as I do myself).  When I decided to be a stay at home Mom, some people just couldn’t believe a “feminist” would choose to do something that is sooo not female empowering. But that’s just the thing. I “choose” to stay at home with my daughter. Doesn’t make me any less of a feminist because I choose to spend my time raising my child. I “choose” to do this.  The right to choose, whatever it may be, is what I think freedom is.
